DWM post WWI commercial magazine , tin plated , not nickel.

It functions properly and looks good in my 1916 DWM , I paid $105 for it (reasonable , I think ..?) , all of which adds up to a "keeper.

You did fine, nice mag. It's not advisable to use it for shooting, but will look great in any Luger.

But you may have a worse problem.

Since the mag goes with another variation to be strictly correct, you may realize that you not only have to keep looking for a military mag, but now you have to buy a post-war Commercial to go with this mag!
