Mark, the most difficult one to find is the next one I need!!! The most difficult of the twelve was the 1939 S/42 in collectable condition. I have seen several that were almost, but no cigar.

There are about 31 or 32 Mauser Lugers of major and minor variations. Of those, the byf 41 with mixed Waffenamt Marks is the most difficult one to find for me so far. I still need a few more of the 31 to make a complete set.

No one seems to know just how many mixed Waffenamt byf 41s are out there. The best guesses are a few dozen to a few hundred, but those are just guesses. I have seen one (that's mine) and heard of one other. Don Hallock has recorded six.

The search goes on!!
