I wonder if this gun is refinished. From the photo it looks like it.... to me anyway. Yes- shooting a collectible is something I also feel very nervous about- that's why I haven't fired mine. Would be nice to be able to look at a gun and tell straight away whether the finish is original or not...
Only way is experience and a practiced eye? (I cannot claim to have either yet)
