Well, this one is a 2015 model no longer affected by the Volkswagen group emissions scandal. My previous one (same make and model) from 2008 was made before they tampered with the emissions. Kind of dodged the bullet.

Everytime its starting to look like diesel is going to take off here in the US, somebody comes along and screws it up. Thank you GM and thank you VW!
