Thank You, I stand corrected! Is the foward site adjustable for a reason or just affixed that way?

Eric, my 1918 Erfurt LP08 adjustable (barrel lug dorsal) sight moves laterally in both directions very slightly. This phenomenon affected my shooting accuracy the first time to the range and until I discovered its existence. I call it being loose from old age. LOL Now I attempt to center it before shooting.

Just adding some rookie humor to the discussion.
