Don,
A Bolivian contract Luger is a 1908 pattern without grip safety. The frame is probably Brazilian.

Thanks Ron, of course you are correct, mind bubble on my part. B is not always B.

The Brazilian contract fits the 3 digit serial number of the frame and other characteristics; Bolivia is an error.

Yes, the M2 is also a good possibility. I had South America stuck in my head and didn't consider Portugal

Considering the low number, could even be a Portuguese Navy frame (it would have to be from a crown & anchor).
