My go to pistol is a Sig 229 in 357 sig with a spare .40 barrel too. I took a tactical pistol course using the pistol Wednesday and ran 350 rounds thru it over 4 hours with absolutely no issues.

Thanks for all the replies, I will forward them to my Son. The one he is interested in, I believe, is the Sig P226, 9mm, stainless with Rosewood grips and I believe listed at $1129. but it sure is a great looking pistol.
