I have bought one fairly rare Simson from them, pretty sure it had been prettied up, not sure by who, but I knew it when I bought it. Have dealt with the company on several other occasions and was treated fairly.
What I suggest you do is read through the forums, do searches on company names like Marc stated and of course be educated on what you are buying. Knowledge is everything. Buy books before guns. Don't buy pretty unless you know what you're buying - that said, I have seen 100+ year old lugers that were really - really nice and own a couple that look almost new. Ed
