If it was my horse that got "gored" - I'd have a different opinion too.

But all in all , Reagan comes out pretty high for me.

Some folks even say the change corrected a "wrong" that gave "double dippers" too much!

Social Security was a cash cow for the government when FDR instituted it in 1935. Average life expectancy was well below the retirement age of 65.
