I purchased it from George Anderson along with the artillery luger although not associated with the gun! Its old, real, fragile, folded and 2 different types of ink and two different handwriting styles by two different scriveners~Enlarge it 2X and then examine it!~Eric

Of course it is "real", point is that some folks don't collect paper because they think it is worthless or silly.

They probably never collected stamps either.

I don't doubt that it is real. The fountain pen writing was the first thing I noticed.

Watching classic WW II movies this last week and seeing Richard Burton pull a ball point pen out of his pocket and write a name in his notebook brought a smile to my face.

To my way of thinking, bringback papers are only useful if you're making a display or a diorama. It's another accessory, like cartridges or a cleaning rod. It looks nice, but it doesn't really add any value to the Luger itself.

If these are worth $500, then maybe I'm wasting my time making long-barrel pistols. I could retire making bringback papers.
