I'm wondering whether your handle is simply installed upside down. That's a good point but if the handle were turned..the plunger would be backwards?
George, Is the AEG logo on the opposite side of the handle?

Thank all of you for your replies. I tried flipping the handle upside down and that puts the cartridge pusher backwards. I think when it was made either the hole for the screw was started on the wrong side or when the parts were riveted together something was reversed. I have attached another photo that shows it better than I can explain. Thanks Ed |
