Hi Sam,

Unfortunately, my business travels to Michigan occur on a Tuesday/Wednesday basis each month so we may have to meet, again, at Tulsa...(when I forget how much my feet hurt from that gun show... .

Back to Turkish lugers...C. Kenyon in his 2nd. book on pages 122-123 indicates the Turkish Mauser contract in 1933-34 may have been for ~ 1,000 lugers.

Photographed is shown luger # 628. Do folks know if # 628 is in a USA collection or outside of the States ?

Sam, the holster shown on the same pages of this book is stamped with the number "411" on the front of the closure flap, underneath the brass closure stud. Is your Turkish holster number-stamped as well ? Might the holster number be matched to a gun number ?

Thanks for your help,

Pete...
