it takes about 8 hours of hand work to do the re-work. It would be quicker if the guy had not stained the original boxes. One can't get the stain out of the compartments, that's why they are black.
Natural or "blond" is the color of the original boxes of the era; some of the long boxes may have been painted flat green.

PS-
If anyone has a spare knurled nut for the barrel, I could use one. The original kit came with two; mine only one.
I bought one from Sarco, but it is larger in diameter, ok for using installed, but won't fit in the box!
