That is an Erfurt tool and would match your Erfurt Luger if one of the acceptance marks on the Luger has the C/G.
Erfurt tools are always “unblued/ blank” and have always a 3 lobe crown while DWM tools are "blued" and have mostly a 4 lobe crown. Erfurt and DWM tools have a different shape. I add a pic to show the differences... |

Sir,
Yes, my Luger also displays the crown over "G" acceptance mark. Is this tool with the C/G marking considered rare or one of the more common tools? I ended up paying just a bit over a hundred dollars for it which is more than I wanted and expected to pay for a tool but it was from a reputable seller with whom I have dealt with in the past. As these are often faked, I was hesitant to pursue other sources. Regards, Ricardo |
