It might be Doug, but even though the "location" is listed as Colorado, I think a seller who lives in CO could get around that by keeping his merchandise in another state where sales are allowed and only administering the auction from his home state. Kind of a gray area IMHO. Shipping would have to take place from the storage location, and not CO to stay legal... also IMHO.

If Colorado's stupidity is anything like New York's, it would be legal to sell it to someone out-of-state, or to a dealer who would (could) only do the same. My Thompson semi became an assault weapon one Sunday night, with a stroke of the a-hole governor's pen. It is now registered, as required, with the state police. At this point, it can be transferred to an immediate family member, sold outside NY, or sold to a dealer. I did pursue a plan to permanently modify my 30 shot stick mags to 10 rounds. My method involves a strip of appropriate length in the channel for the follower's tab, and a single weld inside the mag body. None of this can be seen from the outside once the bottom plate is reinstalled. What a crock!

The Wikipedia synopsis for high capacity mags: Hey they get to have 15 rounds, just what my M1 Carbine used to use!

After July 1, 2013, magazines holding more than 15 rounds may not be possessed, sold, or transferred within the state. LCMs lawfully obtained prior to July 1, 2013 may be kept. Colorado's LCM ban does not phohibit non-residents from bringing LCMs into the state for personal use.
