What kind of stock is this, and is it real?

Hi David, Thanks for those extra photos. I have to revise my opinion, I now think the stock itself may be genuine, but some of the markings are fake. I must confess I've never seen anything like it, it's not German, although it seems to have started life as a surplus LP08 stock, and it's not for the Finnish M23, as Ron suggested. Anyone have any ideas?
