no, it is likely army

some people will say that brown holsters were luftwaffe because the army did have a rule that holsters were to be dyded black, but I see so many that I doubt all are luftwaffe

Police came in brown or black, black usually city police and others and rural were brown

brown is particularly sought after by many folks / ensure you show the inside to show it has not been cut down, etc.

Worth $200-$275 among collectors, dealers will ask a lot more - your tool, it depends on how it is marked, blank, about $40-$50 / marked $75-$125 IMO
