A very nice PP/K!! Congrast. The Colt 1911, and 1911A1 that are in nice/excellent condition are demanding big dollars here also. The post war models are much more reasonable price wise.

.45 ACP Remington M1911 A1 Semi Auto Pistol. 5" barrel marked "Colt .45 Auto". Bore good. Slide marked "Remington Rand Inc. Syracuse NY. USA". Frame marked "United States Property M1911 A1 U.S. Army No.1294180" and "FJA". Metalwork with approximately 75% dull finish, thinning. Excellent chequered brown plastic grips. Lanyard ring. Overall length 81⁄2:. S/N 1294180. G+WO&C. ENDORSED LICENCE REQUIRED. Comes with a leather holster. Flap marked "US". Back marked "Joseph M. Mosser 1942". GC. Estimate $2000 - $2600. #
