The rectangular crimp shown in the red circle is how the two halves of the magazine (front and rear) are kept from separating at the folded seam down the side. This is a stamped sheet metal magazine... not extruded. The FXO type extruded magazines (and similar DDR post war mags that were made on the same machinery) are a single piece of steel, and do not have any type of crimp in this area.
As stated previously, this is a Danish manufactured post-war magazine. I used to own one... they are very high quality.
