Hi,

The hole in the 682m was done after it left the factory, and I think it detracts from it. It might be possible to fix that using a TIG welder, and some work to re-contour the area and refinish it, but it would cost more than the work is worth.

Both were early (1923-1924) commercial Lugers exported to the USA.

Double check to ensure that one is in 9mm. That would be unusual.

Well Marc, you are very correct! My mistake... Last night I was checking several of my lugers and must have gotten confused. Both of these lugers are in fact .30. I added one photo showing the wooden cap on the 5705 luger has a chip missing.

Also after looking closer, I dont think 382 was reblued.
