Your wife has good taste,I like those grips. Reminiscent of the grips on the early Colt 1911's.

I dig it, gorgeous piece, and I bet those grips feel great with the smooth back/textured front. I put fiber optics on my Springfield XD and I've never gone back - literally a life saver in low light. I think I'm jealous of that trigger, especially on a 1911 - That thing is a real operator with a 3.5# pull! Congrats!
