John, These pictures show more detail, but I'm still having trouble judging the finish. The edges of the metal look sharp (a good sign).
When you re-shoot these, use outdoors natural sunlight in a shaded area. Use a background that is more grey in color (meters are calibrated for 18% reflection) or compensate for the light reflected by the background. Marc
