Ummmmmm........... yeah so I don't know about this anymore. The gunsmith calls me tonight to tell me that my .45 isn't ejecting the spent shells properly and horror of horrors it shoots 3/16 of an inch low at 7 yards and an 8th of an inch to the left. So now it's gonna be an additional $40 for a new front sight and he may need to replace the rear sight as well but he won't know that till he swaps out the front one. As for the shell ejecting issue I never had a problem with the 350 rounds I put thru it so he says he'll take a look at the ejector and see whats wrong at no additional charge.

So what started out as a $250 to $300 tune up to make a nice gun a little better is up to $370 and climbing. I'm not so sure about having a gun tuned up anymore as it seems to create more problems then it solves.

I told him I can't go over $400 period no if, and, buts or whats but I'm afraid he's gonna find something that'll make it to that $400 mark.
