Not so fast ..I smell a rat. This type of Police configuration was not made untill around 1926 and later. I cannot ever remember seeing a Police holster like this made with the old WW1 holster style..No reinforcing rib on the back of the magazine pouch, a seperate hinge. This also seems to have a abnormaly fat magazine pouch. I don't like the fuzzy edge around the top. There are some things I like about it but some that are implausible.

My apologies Jerry, your right. I misread Sturgess, too many Margaritas I guess! The Akah holster he illustrates is actually a 1930's commercial. It looks just like Fabrizio's. Best regards, Norm
