looks like a commercial and the 1917 is probably the serial. Commercial is sometimes not as valuable as wartime stuff unless its rare. Is there a script letter on the front of the gun under the barrel? If there is its an alphabet commercial wich is worth if all original parts and finish between 700-1000 on a good day depending on wear.
