I experimented with 2 recent separate CMR reproduction stocks. Both worked without problems on a 1937 S/42 and a 1917 DWM LP08. No additional fitting required.

There was a reason stocks were numbered to the guns, even the originals required a fair share of hand fitting to work on a particular pistol. I had some originals that would fit one pistol and not another as well.
