Need Holster Hanger for US. .45 Holster

The Luger holsters were generally worn on the left side and canting them toward the rear made drawing the gun with right hand easier... the left hand pulled the inside strap which raised the grip high enough for the gun to be drawn. I would imagine that it also made riding in a vehicle a little easier, and made the gun accessible while sitting down. (Likely a GOOD thing in a combat situation...)

So that Norwegian MG-42 gunner has his on the wrong side???

Cross-drawing sounds reasonable...Most movies I've watched also have it worn on the right [wrong] side...

I suppose that would explain why GI's cut the drawstrap off and scalloped the inner front of the holster...and wore it on the right...

...And probably complained about it being canted the wrong way...
