I agree about the inspection period - to some extent.

I get tickets to the Kentucky Derby. Sometimes I cannot use all of them (sometimes i do) so I sell them on Ebay. The tickets are sent around 30 days before the event. The best selling time is when the tickets come out. So allow 7 days for an auction and a 14 day retrun right, and return mailing - that means I could be getting them back a week or less before the event - and might not have enough time to resell them.

Return in the same condition --- sure. Then there is an argument about who is right and guess which side Ebay will take.

Keep the money and the returned item - that will work only once as Ebay will freeze or close the account. Also, remember (since monies have to be sent thru Paypal), to clean the paypal account out or else they will either freeze the account or take the money from the account (or both).

I am not sure if they could go after the checking account or the credit card that is linked to the account. So that has to be looked into.
