That really looks nice, and quite a lot of lugers in a small space to boot! I'd make one small addition... I would cut some, a bunch, of small round discs or spacers, maybe 4.000" OD dia. out of .250" clear (or smoke) lexan, just to slide onto the pvc to space the lugers apart... just to cut down on the posibility of safe rash... Thanks for the compliment. I did consider partitioning between pistols, and may still do so if need be.
On a slightly different topic: does anyone know if metal contact with PVC would be detrimental? I considered everything from 1" glass rods to plastic rods as a pistol rest. PVC seemed to be the easiest solution. Available and inexpensive to experiment with. |
