I would be very suspect of shooting those cartridges...I don't know the exact year that Remington bought out Peters...but I'm pretty sure it was decades ago...

Yeah that ammo is only for display purposes now.

One might consider the issues of long term storage of any pistol in a foam lined interior. Direct contact of metal surfaces with foam long term, can cause some pitting after a while.

Good to know, I was planning on pulling out that foam anyway and finding something better to use that's more attractive.
