Hi Tom, it's basically 'other'.
So 'German Empire and Other Patents'. Although I've seen references to 'Ausländische' as well. They were probably used both, as I have seen and read about both explanations. Sometimes the company itself isn't really clear about the meaning. Take a look at the FBM proof that Mauser used. We found both 'FirmenBeschuss' and 'Freiwiller Beschuss' (company proof and voluntary proof) in Mauser company documents... |
