Hi to all, Thanks guys for remembering Mike, I don't think he posted so much as probably emailed most of us off the forum, I know he had roots here, and enjoyed all facets of WW2 pistol collecting.. I think he was a few years older than I, but not for sure...I have asked Roberta for more info and hopefully I will be able to post more as it unfolds.. his funeral is tomorrow, but you would have to research for anything further, his home town is: LEONIA, NJ ... best to all, til...lat'r...GT

FITZPATRICK Michael G., of Leonia, died on Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at the age of 64 years. He retired as a firefighter for the City of Hackensack, where he worked for 25 years, and currently owned Palisades Badge and Emblem Company of Leonia. Previously he worked as a firefighter for the California Division of Forestry. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of I.A.F.F. # 2081 of Hackensack and a charter member of the Metro Fire Radio Group. Beloved husband of Roberta (nee Bronson). Devoted father of Robert Fitzpatrick of Philadelphia. The funeral service on Friday, October 8th, at 10 AM at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, Reverend Brian Laffler officiating. Cremation Cedar Lawn Crematory. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Memorial donations to the Hackensack Fire Department Widow and Orphans Fund, 205 State Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601 would be appreciated.
