Gentleman- I have been here awhile lurking and learning from you fellow collectors and this is my first post here and would like to add my 2 cents of opinion on the photo. Part of the General's pistol grip tends to be in the shadows and in many ways appears to give off the look of a highpower grip. However I do not make out an external hammer on the pistol in the photogragh though the angle of the photo and the General's jacket maybe a hiding factor. All that said my guess is a Remington pistol.-Dave
