Fred, Doves and Buzzard. Dave, It is part of a Police contract for 40,000 1920 and 1921 new production DWM Lugers. No suffix, a and b suffix ranges. Approx. 10,000 more went to the military. These are often improperly referred to as Weimar "Reworks". They are not reworked, with the exception of the addition of the police safeties. They were newly produced in 1920 and 1921. Francis, You must have found the Mother Lode. Isn't this the third you've posted recently. A very nice Police. They aren't often found in this condition. Ron

Thank you, these are examples that I have acquired over the years. Although I have been registered to the Site for quite some time, just now getting around to posting. Only have a few more to post and that will be the extent of my Luger collection.
