Hi Folks,


Purely as a data point a rust blue doesnâ??t have to be dull - it can be every bit as shiny as a holt salt blue. The luster of the firearm after bluing (regardless of whether the blue is cold rust or hot salt) is determined by the level of buffing prior to the bluing process.
