Had a guy offer me one of these at a gunshow couple months back for $100 but I had never seen one and was unsure of its worth. Doh.

Congratualtion Bob, nice piece!
I've become a fan of stocked pistols in the past few years, and have been trying to buy one of these holsters, off and on, for awhile now. So far, I always seem to be outbid. I did stumble actross the "other" rare Woodsman stock, the Monarch Arms "Rifle-ette" aluminum stock from the 1920's at the Ventura Gun Show a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, the matching cast-metal grips required to mount the stock were missing, and I suspect I'll spend the rest of my life looking for a pair. . . If anybody has a lead on a pair of cast-metal grips for a Woodsman, I'd sure be interested! thanks, John |
