Steve,
Found this posting with a Google search. http://forums.1911forum.com/showthread.php?t=68064 I've owned 3 or 4 of the Argentine 1911s. I haven't found a comprehensive book, but managed to piece together information from old articles, such as Guns&Ammo "Surplus Firearms" periodicals, "Hand Guns of the World", "Know Your 1911" by E.J. Hoffschmidt published by Blacksmith Press, etc. Ron

Steve,
Ron beat me to the punch on the M1911 forum link but I think anyone interested in M1911 and M1911A1's should consider purchasing Charles W. Clawson's books "Collector's Guide to Colt .45 Service Pistols" and "Colt .45 Government Models (Commercial Series)". the latter has a interesting Chapter 8 on Licensed Colt copies including the FN (Browning), Norwegian and Argentine Colts, pages 161-199.
