not by me .... no, really I can't remember where I copied it from ....
About 4 or 5 years ago, I posted this on Jan Still's Luger forum, and it gathered some discussion, ... if I remember correctly, another member knew of the photo, its source and story. Maybe a search there could find it, I use the same name both forums (fora, forae ?)

Some of the replies were funny, and one person thought he recognized Ralph Shattuck in the photo, getting his start as a Luger collector.

I think I see one of my shooter Lugers in that million-dollar pile, the one near the back with the little scratch next to the toggle ...... I bet the original magazine is somewhere in there too.

this photo is in Johnson's "booty" book, and I am sure in others, I have this photo and about 5 or 10 others like it saved from the internet.


The photo above says PFC Herman Stanley on the copy I have on my hard drive....
