Puma, Since the rear of the cartridges are the same there is no size differences to deal with.

A .30 Luger cartridge is just a necked down 9MM.

Both cartridges work the same in all Luger magazines.

Well, to be correct should it not be the other way around(?):
-the 9mm is a "necked up" 7.65mm, as the 7.65mm was the
first parabellum cartirdge
