The trigger lever is a force-fit to the back of the sideplate. "Inside the side plate, the trigger lever is maintained through an S-shaped pin. To remove this pin and free the trigger lever, insert the tip of a thin screwdriver behind the pin, and pry against its free arm until it rotates out of the plate and allows for the whole pin to be pulled out of engagement with the trigger lever." I highly recommend this e-book for all luger owners and it only costs $5.95 USD to download and enjoy. (BTW, My only connection to Mr. Henrotin is as a satisfied customer) See the link if you want to own this book... Removing these parts is rarely necessary.
