Default Re: Reloading dies

Lee Dies are the ones I use for 30 Luger reloading, but you must have the proper expander plug if you shoot .308" diameter bullets (Western Scrounger sells these bullets) The 30 Luger has a bore diameter around .310" so some of the loading dies are set up for a .310 bullet. I had some problems with this with Lee dies and RCBS dies. I was having the bullets push back in the case when the loading sequence started on the feed ramp. You could even push the bullet back into the case with your thumb. I contacted RCBS and told them the problem and they IGNORED me. I contacted LEE dies and they HELPED me. LEE sent me a proper expander plug so that the cases would hold the bullet better. LEE Dies were very helpful and now I have a great set of dies with two expander plugs, one that works with .308 bullets and one that works with .310" bullets. ~Thor~
