Forget about the "reproduction" part, it is my "signature" and is intended to be a tongue-in-cheek joke. Your more precise description would make your Luger more likely a 1920 Commercial that, as you suspect, has been rebarreled. We need to be able to see the "color chart" as Ed puts it. Full serial number and photos may help pin it down.
