what is the significance of what is on the extractor? Are they prone to breakage? If so would this be a replacement?

Thanks for the offer but I have added 7 new C7R's in the past two months and a pre 64 win 94 so funds are tight as well as the wifes enjoyment of collecting. LOL Will keep it mind though; maybe one day
