Chris, welcome to the forum. A serial number can help us, to include the suffix on the front of the frame. In addition, the proofs and acceptance on the right side of the receiver will tell us if this is a WW1 that was reworked or an original 1920 (date) rather than a 1920 property stamping.
if you could take a clear picture of the front grip strap, as it could be a weimar army marking or a weimar police marking. Ed
