I wonder whether public display of certain German uniforms and/or guns would have been particularly "inflammatory" in 1943 Zurich? We need to dramatize the tension and tenuousness of the "no blood spilt in the temple" neutrality, but I wouldn't want to strain credulity with public demonstrations of military symbols that would blatantly violate Swiss protocol...
