As the resident attorney of record for the forum I have a question:
Isn't there a provision in the copyright laws that allows for "minor" extracts or quotes from a copyrighted work as long as credit is given to the copyright owner and the publication source? If so, wouldn't that allow for extracting and quoting a paragraph or two for posting here without violation of a copyright? Sort of an advertisement for his book... -John |
