Hi:

Well, let's try this theory.

Your ammo is too short. The factory 7.65mm I've measured is all way too short to properly feed those first three or so rounds off the top of the mag.

If you are reloading anyway, try your final oal at 1.173 inches exactly.

Rounds that are too short will usually hang-up in the magazine, rather than feed properly. The problem gets less critical the fewer rounds there are in the magazine.

Also, none of the commercial ammo I've tried is loaded hot enough in the 7.65mm.
