Hi Frank,

Yes, that is exactly what I am thinking also. There are lots of aluminium numbered magazines through the U block and then almost none after that. I think that could be correct -- authorized in June of 1941 and actually issued sometime later. Just based on information and observations. I also feel that a lot of these blank based magazines, both aluminium and black plastic (fxo's) are replacements and extra's.
