LP-08 repo stock

Hello Ron
The stock is a dark wood (rich dark brown) like what is on my 1913 remington 14 1/2 and wavey. but I was told it is a repo. It looks like those from the 70's that pics have been on this site, no numbers on stock. They had a repo navy with dark wood but grain was straight so I was not interested but it was sold. Is $200.00 to much with out the leather?
