Dave,

The Mitchell guns do not represent good value for the money, either as collector items or shooting guns. Objectively, their value is equavalent to any corresponding model which has been buffed and reblued (there is no way to know if the Mitchell guns are all-matching). Their cost new is at least seven times this value; the gun you have been offered is about three times overpriced.
